Health Policies and Law

The American legal system has different regulations in healthcare that regulate government responsibility towards society and formalize the commitment towards achieving universal health goals. The (HIPAA) is an act that allows Americans to maintain the same insurance policies as they move from one job to the other, accommodates family adjustments such as marriages, adoption, and births. The U.S Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulates food in American State, enduring that consumers’ foods such as poultry and meat are safe for consumption (Wilensky & Teitelbaum). The Federal Motor Carriers and Safety Administrator ensure cars and buses adhere to daily travels and traffic laws to control movement. Different regulations and laws governing the departments in the United States, hence assist in ensuring healthy living for Americans.

The Primary Sources of American Law

The American government healthcare system forms regulations and laws from the primary sources of healthcare. There are four primary sources of American Law. The constitution, case law, state statutes, and administrative regulations (Wilensky & Teitelbaum). The United States has agencies, which, with Congressional oversight, work to make laws to facilitate public wellbeing.

The Healthcare Quality

The Purpose the American law involves the maintenance of law and order, ensuring that agencies function appropriately by administering the health policies in all departments. The laws in the healthcare system ensure quality healthcare services, ensuring consumer protection in the markets (Wilensky & Teitelbaum). The quality of healthcare in America is expensive, with the need for improvement to attain high standard healthcare facilities. According to American law, all humans have the right to access quality healthcare facilities just as outlined in the Bible. Biblical World view on wellness illustrates the need to avoid harming people and ensure safety through different ways such as safety and healthcare. Through laws and regulations that enhance safety, American society supports the biblical view of ensuring good health among people.
